Warsaw, Poland · Independent game studio
AIRON Games is an independent Polish studio making small, story-driven games — founded by people who've been shipping them for thirty years.

The Road That Chose Us
February 2022. The war in Ukraine begins, and ordinary people get behind the wheel to drive strangers to safety. The Road That Chose Us is a story-driven management game about those journeys — the drivers, the routes, and the choices no one prepared them for.
The game draws on the real experiences of its creators.
The Road That Chose Us is dedicated to the memory of Michał Kowalczyk.
Ministry of Culture and National Heritage · Institute of Creative Industries
AIRON Games sp. z o.o. is carrying out the project “Prototype of the paradocumentary game The Road That Chose Us”, co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland under the Institute of Creative Industries' own programme: Video Games Support Programme (Program Wsparcia Gier Wideo).
European Union · Creative Europe MEDIA
The Road That Chose Us is co-funded by the European Union under the Creative Europe MEDIA programme. The project is coordinated by SQRT3 Games S.A. in cooperation with AIRON Games sp. z o.o. Coordinator contact: contact@sqrt3.games

How we work
Small teams, honest production
We keep the team small and scope deliberate. We use modern, AI-assisted production tools where they genuinely help — and we are open about where they do and where they don't.
